ABOUT ME

I’m Tianyao Wang, an industrial designer from Nanjing, China, with a passion for modular and transformable design. Inspired by my grandfather’s craftsmanship, I grew up fascinated by how things are built and function. My love for toys—LEGO, Gundam, and Transformers—led me to explore mechanical systems, deconstructing and reimagining their possibilities.

I see design as a puzzle where aesthetics and functionality come together. I enjoy creating transformable structures, optimizing mechanics, and refining interactive experiences. Whether it’s designing toys that push the boundaries of articulation and playability or crafting products that balance beauty and practicality, I strive to bring innovation to everyday objects and make them more engaging and intuitive.
